What CPG does

CardPreGrading.com (“CPG”) measures the centering of a card photographed by you, and combines that measurement with a guided defect review you complete yourself. From this we produce an estimated grade range and a submit / borderline / skip verdict.

What CPG does not do

  • CPG is not a grading company.
  • CPG does not guarantee any grade outcome at PSA, ACE, BGS, CGC, or any other grader.
  • CPG does not assess card authenticity. We assume the card is genuine.

Why estimates can vary

Human grading involves human judgement. Sub-graders apply personal thresholds for what counts as a print line, edge wear, or holo scratch. Lighting, mood, and submission volume all contribute to outcome variability. CPG's output should be used as decision support, not a guarantee.

Photo quality matters

Our centering measurement is only as accurate as the photo you provide. We validate basic photo quality before accepting input, but extreme angles, glare, or low resolution will reduce accuracy.

No financial advice

Card grading involves cost, time, and resale risk. CPG provides information only and not financial advice. Use your own judgement when deciding to submit a card.
